Corporate History
February 1987: S.H.I.Thermo-Tech, Co., Ltd.(Capitalized at \ 15 million) and SHI Toyo Kiko Limited Liability Company (Capitalized at \ 7 million) were established.
October 1990: The two companies merged into a company named S.H.I.Tech-Max Co., Ltd. (Capitalized at \ 50 million)
April 2000: We started manufacturing mechanical system models for Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. and the name of the company was changed to SHI Mechanical & Equipment Inc.
January 2002: The capital was increased to \ 200 million.
June 2002: Business rights of the mechanical system models were transferred from Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. to SHI Mechanical & Equipment Inc.
April 2003: Business rights of the coke oven machinery were transferred from Koubukuro Iron Works Co., Ltd. to SHI Mechanical & Equipment Inc.
December 2009: Steel Structure & Process Equipment Division of Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. ("SHI") has been divided from the company, and it and SHI Mechanical & Equipment Inc.have been consolidated into Sumitomo Heavy Industries Process Equipment Co., Ltd. The capital was increased to \ 480 million.
